Así es la niña considerada ‘la más guapa del mundo’

A sus cinco años, Jare Ijalana ya es considerada como la niña más guapa de mundo. Descubierta gracias a una sesión de fotos la pequeña ha fascinado al mundo dejando a todo aquel que la mira boquiabierto con su espectacular belleza. La descubridora es una fotógrafa nigeriana llamada Mofe Bamuyiwa que hace unas semanas publicaba una serie de tres imágenes en su perfil de Instagram de una sesión de fotos que realizó a la pequeña. Desde ese momento, la fotografía de la pequeña está dando la vuelta al mundo y ha empezado a ocupar portadas de revistas de moda.

En algunos reportajes publicados sobre Jare también destacan que la belleza no es solo de ella, las hermanas de la pequeña no se quedan atrás.

A Coruña refuerza su papel como capital internacional de la moda

La empresaria Marta Ortega impulsa un nuevo proyecto cultural en Galicia con la apertura de The MOP Library, una biblioteca especializada en moda y fotografía de moda ubicada en A Coruña.

La iniciativa, promovida por la Fundación Marta Ortega, amplía la oferta cultural del vanguardista edificio del Muelle de Batería, convertido en los últimos años en un referente internacional gracias a sus exposiciones dedicadas a grandes nombres de la fotografía.

Un espacio con más de 5.500 publicaciones sobre moda

The MOP Library arranca con un fondo de más de 5.500 ejemplares, entre libros, revistas y catálogos que recorren la historia de la moda de las últimas cuatro décadas. El archivo está disponible para investigadores, estudiantes y público general mediante consulta presencial gratuita, con reserva previa a través de la web de la fundación.

El catálogo incluye monografías y colecciones dedicadas a fotógrafos de renombre como Richard Avedon, Nan Goldin y Tim Walker.

También alberga colecciones completas de cabeceras internacionales como Vogue Italia, dirigida durante años por Franca Sozzani, así como publicaciones influyentes como System, Purple, Interview o Self Service.

Un proyecto cultural consolidado en el Muelle de Batería

Desde 2021, la Fundación ha situado a A Coruña en el mapa internacional de la fotografía y la moda con exposiciones de figuras clave como Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, David Bailey y, más recientemente, Annie Leibovitz, cuya retrospectiva “Wonderland” ha sido la primera gran muestra individual protagonizada por una mujer en la institución.

Las exposiciones, caracterizadas por su acceso gratuito, han atraído tanto a profesionales del sector como a público general y medios internacionales.

Un archivo único que seguirá creciendo

La biblioteca nace como un archivo propio y singular para estudiar la evolución de la moda contemporánea desde finales del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. Además, la Fundación prevé ampliar el fondo con aproximadamente 200 nuevas incorporaciones cada año.

Los primeros turnos de consulta estarán disponibles a partir del 6 de marzo, en horario de tarde de lunes a viernes. Cada usuario podrá solicitar hasta tres ejemplares por visita.

Con esta apertura, A Coruña consolida su posición como enclave cultural de referencia en el ámbito de la moda y la fotografía internacional.
